“Bark Eater” is an English translation of the Mohican word “Adirondack,” a term the Mohawk once used for Algonquian-speaking tribes who were said to eat the inside of the bark of the white pine when food was scarce.

status of the cell tower in long lake
some of you may not even want one there - i would prefer to survive my adirondack heart attack or get my niece urgent care while enjoying the pristine wilderness - but i understand others disagree does anyone know what's up about it
